Druseidt extreme flexible silicone extruded cables, due to the unique fine stranded design are able to transmit much higher amperages than conventional copper cables. For example, our AWG 0 (50 mm²) 15028 cable is rated at 276 A at 90° C or 245 A at 80° C, which would be equivalent to the amperage capacity of a conventional AWG 4/0 cable which is rated 260 A at 90° C or 230 A at 75° C. Smaller cables mean more flexibility, smaller footprint and naturally we have the corresponding UL as well as ULC rated lugs to ensure a compliant assembly.

Druseidt cables are ideally suited for high current connections within switchboards, switch gears, and other high current applications. Since many applications are being launched in ever smaller dimensions, these cables offer an optimal solution for power connections in tight spaces.

All 1.8/3 kV designs are tested and meet the fire protection requirements for the use in the railway industry and similar applications.
